For Morning

In this the month of happiness and joy, I must share the joy I feel every morning as I step out into the sunshine. A sweet melody this, it captures the essence of that delight.
Morning has broken, like the first morning
Blackbird has spoken, like the first bird
Praise for the singing, praise for the morning
Praise for the springing fresh from the word
Sweet the rain's new fall, sunlit from heaven
Like the first dewfall, on the first grass
Praise for the sweetness of the wet garden
Sprung in completeness where His feet pass
Mine is the sunlight, mine is the morning
Born of the one light, Eden saw play
Praise with elation, praise every morning
God's recreation of the new day

Awww, this makes me hear Cat Steven's voice. I never caught all the words, so it's so nice to see them written out.

:) Thanks for sharing.
It's quite cloudy here, but one can be just as happy that morning has broken.

i loved it.

also interesting that my most recent post has the line -
"and morning will be here once again"

while in yours, morning has already broken.

a matter of perspective alone, yes? :)
